Furnished Med reserves the right to not engage in disputes between users regarding issues that could have otherwise been addressed through a security deposit as outlined in a lease agreement.

Hosts who choose to request deposits for their listings are legally obligated to display such requests clearly and fairly to prospective tenants. This includes providing accurate information regarding the purpose of the deposit, the amount required, and any relevant terms or conditions.

Hosts are encouraged to adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding rental agreements and deposit collection to ensure compliance and protect both themselves and their tenants.
Although Furnished Med reserves the right to not engage in transactions between tenants and hosts, the platform is built on user trust. Hosts who engage in unfair, manipulative, or deceptive charges may be subject to consequences, including but not limited to listing removals, account suspension, or permanent bans from the platform.

Tenants are encouraged to review any deposit requests made by hosts carefully. It is their responsibility to ensure they understand the purpose of the deposit, the amount required, and any relevant terms or conditions before agreeing to a rental.
Tenants should engage in transparent communication with hosts regarding deposits and any associated charges. 21. Force Majeure
21.1. Definition: Furnished Med shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental actions, pandemics, strikes or other labor disputes, fire, explosion, or widespread internet outages (each, a “Force Majeure Event”).
21.2. Notification and Efforts to Mitigate: In the event of a Force Majeure Event, Furnished Med will provide notice to users as soon as practicable. We will also make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact of the Force Majeure Event on the affected obligations and to resume performance as soon as reasonably possible.
21.3. Scope of Impact: Furnished Med’s obligations and performance will be suspended for the duration of the Force Majeure Event. Users acknowledge that during this period, certain
services, features, or functions of the platform may be unavailable or limited.
21.4. Limitations: This clause does not excuse any obligations of users, including payment obligations, which may continue to be due unless directly impacted by the Force Majeure Event and as allowed by law.
21.5. Resumption of Services: Upon completion or resolution of the Force Majeure Event, Furnished Med will promptly resume the affected services and fulfill its obligations as outlined in these Terms.
22. Severability
22.1. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue to be in full force and effect.
22.2. Consistency with Intent: The parties agree that any unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law, in a manner that closely reflects the original intent of the provision.
22.3. Impact on Overall Agreement: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision, and these Terms shall be construed as if never containing the invalid or unenforceable provision.
23. Entire Agreement
23.1. Comprehensive Agreement: These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or agreements expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Furnished Med regarding your use of the Services.
23.2. Supersession of Prior Agreements: These Terms supersede and replace any and all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, or communications, whether written or oral, regarding the subject matter contained herein.
23.3. Amendments and Waivers: No amendment to or waiver of these Terms will be binding unless in writing and signed by Furnished Med. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and specific to the particular situation and provision.
23.4. Reliance on Representations: You acknowledge that you have not relied on any representation, warranty, or statement not expressly set out in these Terms, and Furnished Med shall not be liable for any such extraneous representations.
24. No Waiver
24.1. Non-Waiver of Rights: The failure or delay by Furnished Med to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
24.2. Written Waiver Requirement: Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if it is in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Furnished Med.
24.3. Effect of Waiver: A waiver by Furnished Med of any right or provision under these Terms on one occasion shall not constitute a waiver of any other right or provision, or of the same right or provision on any other occasion.
25. Assignment
25.1. User Assignment Prohibition: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of Furnished Med. Any attempted assignment or transfer without such consent will be void and of no effect.
25.2. Furnished Med’s Right to Assign: Furnished Med may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms, in whole or in part, at any time without your consent. This may include, but is not limited to, an assignment or transfer to an affiliate or a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
25.3. Binding Effect: Subject to the foregoing, these Terms will be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties, their successors, and permitted assigns.
